Riding surfaces
The large outdoor arena is equipped with the stresan® V ebb-and-flow system. This setup ensures consistent moisture and stable ground conditions, allowing the arena to be used regardless of weather conditions.
Given the high demands placed on riding surfaces in equestrian clubs due to daily training and multiple competitions per year, an ebb-and-flow system was chosen to provide a particularly durable, controllable, and long-lasting sand mixture.

An automatic ebb-and-flow system has been installed at ZRFV Borken. The riding surface remains consistently moist – whether in sunshine or rain. This reduces dust and ensures uniform firmness and elasticity throughout the year.
